Dillon is a purpose-driven leader with more than 20 years of experience helping industry-leading organizations to improve their technology and security risk profile. He was inspired to co-found CI-Discern to serve clients in the Critical Infrastructure space after spending more than 16 years with EY (Ernst & Young), where he was a Partner / Principal. At EY, Dillon held multiple leadership roles including Cyber-in-Energy Lead for the Americas and, before that, Japan Cybersecurity Practice Lead. 

Dillon is experienced building and leading diverse teams to optimize security and resiliency capabilities, especially where security and compliance obligations meet.

Greg is an executive-level cybersecurity leader with extensive Global experience leading, developing, and implementing cybersecurity initiatives, programs, and policies. Prior to co-founding CI-Discern, Greg was the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at the US Department of Energy, and was most recently a Managing Director in EY’s Energy Cybersecurity Consulting practice.  While at EY, Greg served as the cybersecurity field of play lead on multiple power and utilities, oil and natural gas, and global manufacturing accounts assisting CISO’s to transform their cybersecurity programs. 

Greg is a respected collaborator and advisor to CIOs, CTOs and CISOs across the public and private sectors. 

Jim is a technical, hands-on leader with more than 40 years of experience in information technology, security, and power systems operations.  Prior to co-founding CI-Discern, Jim was the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at the Western Area Power Administration (WAPA). While at WAPA, Jim was responsible for information assurance and cyber operations in a transmission utility encompassing most of the Western United States.  He managed security on four large SCADA/EMS systems and a very large business network as well as substation automation in over 300 locations. Jim has directly managed the operation of complex conventional power generation and marine propulsion systems.
